Something that has become very clear to me lately is how rigid some people are in their views of how Reiki is to be used. Some are completely unwilling to make any alterations or changes such as the usage of symbols from level II and higher. Well obviously they do have a certain point as that is the traditional method and if one practices Usui Shiki Ryoho then it would be a good idea to at the very least know the symbols. But does this mean that either using symbols , or not, should be a one way consideration? Do we always use symbols or always do reiki without them? It’s lutachris to have a rigid “This is the way now do it” attitude. I’m obviously not saying this means any alterations can be done but maybe it should be a case to case thing? Sometimes i do use reiki symbols, other times i don’t. Mostly i don’t but that is becuase i have learned to work with intention above symbols. They dont do squat on their own other then help people connect to what they already have inside of themselves. IMHO It’s not good to be dependant on the symbols – but good to be able to use them when needed. Am i making any sense whatsoever or just ranting off?

Also been thinking about the original attunement method by Mikao Usui, Reiju, which was the method used during his time. It was a meditational practice together with the teacher where the students energy channels were opened gradually. This meditation was performed daily or weekly. Unfortunately the connection one got from such regular practice with the teacher got lost when Takata changed the system into a three level system, with each level having a one time energy channel opener. That meant a helluva load of energy being shot through ones system and clearing away negative energies and emotional/mental stuff lying about. This can result in a period of cleansing in which the body gets rid of these blockages, however it’s not the oh-so-famous 21 day cleansing process. I’m not sure how it started but it must have some connection to Usuis 21 day fasting by Mount Kurama in Japan where he became attuned to reiki himself. Difference between Reiju and a full attunement is that Reiju is far more gradual making it easier to adapt and to deal with the stuff coming out into the open. an attunement is like a rite of passage where one begins a new journey, but before that can be done, old stuff needs to be dealt with.

I’m not entirely sure if i am going to prepare a manual for my class just yet. I have alot school related that needs doing before next term and dont have time to write a new manual. I will go over things in class and i’ll expect people to bring penns and notepads. If they make decent notes that should be enough. But i’ll definately write on. When i have time :p

Some time ago i found a ladies guestbook online and left a message in it, seeing she’s Wiccan. She replied over email and it turned out we are going to the same college. We’ve been talking on and off for some time, and she told me there are at least two more she knows of on campus. She, another one and I were going to meet today. Unfortunately the other lady didn’t show up, which was a shame. But i still got to meet Isabel. It was very…well, weird, meeting her in real life after we’ve talked online for a while. We met right inside Indiska, and walked over to coffee house berget where we waited for the other one. Neither of us had met her so we really didnt know who to look for. When she didnt show at 1:25pm we went inside and got some coffee. We must’ve talked about two hours about all sorts of stuff. Wicca (obviously!), school, education, healing and whatnot. Dude were i nervous, borderline paniking. LOL. But it went well, and soon it got really comfortable talking. I think we both noticed some funny body language we both have when we’re a bit nervous, involving hitting a tray a good few times! *grins* Isabel’s very much down to earth and wellgrounded. Unfortunately there are far to many of thoes “fluffy bunny” sort of wiccas.

It was very nice meeting someone likeminded i can really talk about the religious things with. There are alot of people, mostly maria, i talk about experiences but it’s hard to relate to one thing without having the frame of reference. With luck we’ll get the other lady who didnt show up, and a fourth, who is on iceland. Later on..well maybe we’ll find more witches roaming about campus

where to start? Oh, right…yesterday evening/night was probably one of the nicest i’ve had in a very long time. Maria came over at 5pm. She got off the bus but didn’t notice me standing right by the door waiting for her. *grins* We went to City, to order a couple veggie pizzas then did some grocery shopping. That was desperately needed as fridge was getting a bit empty. So we got back here, ate, and goofed around for a little while. Well actually we goofed around all evening

I finally got around to do some healing, which was very interesting last night. Normal reiki, chakra balancing and aura cleansing was asked. We did some experimenting with sensing each others energyfields and chakras which was fun. To be honest, i can’t believe how goofy we ‘came later. It was really nice We also ended up doing Angel Card readings and Tarot readings on each other. In most of them it were dead on right. Also did a reading on our guides, who were sitting talking about golfing. Since when do spiritguides talk about golf?! But honestly; Lately i’ve noticed when talking to spiritguides – they have a wonderful sense of humor. So does Maria. Wish she hadn’t had to leave

I am so looking forward tomorrow afternoon. I made contact with another Wicca over healingforum.se and we hit off pretty well. Turns out we’re going to the same college even, and have for a while been planning on meeting up sometime over a cup of coffee. Funny thing is that there are more Wiccans roaming about LiU so we’ll be 3 going this first time, and hopefully another one at some point – she’s overseas right now and can’t attend. Tomorrow i’ll just scoot over to Linköping and run around town for a bit then head to coffee house berget right next to Indiska. All i know is that Isabel is going to wear purple pants, and Cernunnons necklace. I’ll be wearing my usual chokurei necklace, as i pretty much never take it off save when sleeping or bathing. I’m really looking forward to it, and am definately nervous about it too. It’s not often i get to meet other wicca practitioners.

On a sidenote, i got the homeexam in psychology class. This looks pretty hefty but should be manageable as i still have books to crack open. Wish me luck

Got word from prefect on campus about the letter regarding reiki classes on campus. He blatantly refused to forward it to student emails with no word of explanation. So to hell with him. I’ll put up fliers and contact studenthealth. They if anyone would be able to supply with accomodations for those two days.

Sent email to program administrator at college today, asking her to email all the students on the religious science program with information i had prepared on a future reiki 1 class. She just needed to clear it with dean first as money is involved. $50 is pretty dang cheap in comparison to $120 my first Reiki 1 teacher in person wanted. Hopefully there will be enough interest to hold one. Fun thing is Maria, my only current reiki II student, also wants to participate. If she feels ready she might want to co-teach something. But only if she is ready and wants to. It’ll be wonderful experience for everyone

Manshmal wünche ich ganz einfach das ich tot wehre. Es wehre so viel einfacher. Keine schmärteze, kein ungedult.
Nuhr warmes schlaf als seit vorbeileuft. Aber das kan man nicht machen. Oder kan man? Ich habe schwere problemen mit
mihr selbst und wihr ich bin. Ich habe eine viel dunkler zeite als ich die meiste leute zeigen vertraut. Manchmahl muss man zeigen whehr man ist, aber was wehn man habt angst die mihr dichtestens am hertz wegleuft? Gerade jetzt fühle ich mihr so viel dunklar als ich getahn habe wehn ich wolte mein eigenes leben nemen. Wie macht man wehn man möchte auf eines berg stehen und alles unheimliches tief im sehle im eines langes geschrie rauslassen? Aber man traut es nicht. Es habt kein bedeutung wie viel man braucht es, es ist immer noch dunkel och örgendwie krank. Ein hand auf meines hertz, mit werme und liebe. Bis sie es schlachtet vüe das dunkle dahrdrinne.

Wehr bin ich? Ich weis ganz einfach nicht lenger. Ich habt geglaubt ich eines tages wissen würde, aber der tag scheint so weit weg. Ich möchte nuhr jetzt warmes schlaf. Ohne zeit, licht, schmärtz. Nuhr ruhe.

Und wie sie sehen kan is das deutche sprache mihr ganz am arsh vorbeigegangen im schule.
